Overview

Ultrasound Whole Abdomen, also called Ultrasonography, is a radiology test that uses high-frequency sound waves to produce images of internal body structures. It helps evaluate major organs within the abdominal cavity safely and painlessly without using ionizing radiation.

Abdominal ultrasound enables doctors to visualize organs, tissues, and blood vessels to detect abnormalities, infections, or structural concerns for accurate medical diagnosis.

Expert & Comfortable Care

Female sonographers play a vital role in women’s healthcare diagnostics, especially during pregnancy scans and breast screenings. Their expertise ensures comfort, privacy, and accurate imaging for female patients.

At Samarth Diagnostic Center, we provide high-quality ultrasound scans with experienced professionals, advanced technology, and patient-focused care. Our team is committed to delivering precise results with convenience and compassion.

Procedure

Sonography involves the use of a handheld device called a transducer. The doctor applies a water-based gel on the abdomen to help sound waves travel efficiently. The transducer is then gently moved across the abdominal area to capture real-time images.

The process is painless, non-invasive, and allows patients to view images on the monitor during the scan. Once completed, the gel is wiped off, and normal activities can be resumed immediately.
